NRI Customers – Request a Call back from ICICI Bank

If you are unable to reach ICICI NRI customer care centres using the above helpline numbers, you can request a call back by raising an online request.

New NRI Customers:

New customers can request a call back from the bank only when they wish to open an NRI account with the bank or to convert their existing resident account into an NRI account.

To request a call back, they need to fill an online form, which is available on ICICI Bank website in the ‘Customer Care’ page under ‘NRI Banking’ category.

Once the form is submitted, ICICI representative will give a call within 15 minutes from the number


. If he is unable to reach you, a second attempt will be made within next 10 minutes. Please make sure to have your phone line free and available.

Existing NRI Customers:

Existing NRI customers of ICICI bank can avail the free call back facility from any place in the world.

Customers calling from India, UK, USA, Canada, and Singapore can call the respective toll-free number and request the call-back facility.

Others can use the online form to request a call back. The online form is available in ICICI ‘Customer Care’ page, under NRI>Existing Customers’ category.

Once the request is submitted, ICICI representative will give a call back in next 5 minutes. A second attempt will be made in next 10 minutes. Ensure that your phone line is free while requesting a call back. If there is no call within 30 minutes of raising the request, customers can retry the same.

ICICI Bank NRI customers can use online forms to raise service requests related to various products. The forms specific to different products are available in the bank’s website.

Different forms are available for different products including demat account, credit card and home loan.

ICICI Customer Care – Grievance Redressal

A holistic grievance redressal system has been adopted by ICICI Bank to resolve all the unanswered/unsatisfied complaints/queries reported by its customers. The grievance redressal process allows the customers to escalate the issues to the next level management who will make sure that no query remains unresolved.

Customers who didn’t receive a proper response from the ICICI customer care centre can use the grievance redressal escalation matrix to take their issues to next level. Only those who approached the ICICI customer care centre in the first instance and got a ‘service request number’ can use the system to escalate their issue.

Level-1: Send an e-mail: Visit the ‘Complaints’ page on the ICICI website and click on ‘e-mail’. You will be redirected to a new page where you need to fill the required fields along with the details of your issue before clicking on ‘Submit’. Once your mail is submitted, you are likely to receive an acknowledgement from the bank.

Level-2: Contact ICICIs phone banking head: In case, your mail is not answered or if you find the resolution unsatisfactory, you can escalate the same to ICICI’s Head of Phone Banking. The officer can be approached in two ways – through a written request or by sending an e-mail.

The form is available for download on ‘Complaints’ page of the bank’s website. Once the bank receives the form, you are likely to receive a response within 4 business days.

The second method is to send an e-mail to the officer through an online submission form. On the same ‘Complaints’ page, you will find an EMAIL button under step-2. Clicking on it will redirect you to a new page, where you can enter your details and submit the form to the phone banking head.

You have to enter your details including name, e-mail ID, phone number, service request number, type of account, account number or application number, and details of your grievance. Once you enter all the details click ‘Submit’. You may receive an acknowledgement from the respective department once the request is submitted.

Level-3: Write to ICICI’s Principal Nodal Officer: Unfortunately, if your issue remains unresolved after the 2nd level of escalation, you can directly contact ICICI’s principal nodal officer. The principal nodal officer can be contacted by sending a filled in grievance form or submitting an online e-mail.

Level-4: Contact ICICI’s Customer Service Head: The final level of contact in the ICICI grievance redressal matrix is ICICIs senior general manager and head of the customer service. He/she can be approached by sending a filled-in grievance form or by submitting an online e-mail. Both the options are available in ICICI’s ‘Complaints’ page.

Your issue is likely to get resolved at any one of the levels mentioned above. If none of them provides a satisfactory resolution, you still have a chance to voice your concern.
